4 years since the opening of the first aid station «Good Samaritan» in Gardabani

A first aid station was opened in Gardabani under the name "Shamraya Tava" ("Good Samaritan") on October 3, 2019 with the financial support of Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae Assyrian- Chaldean Catholic Church and with the assistance of the Charitable Foundation "Caritas Georgia".

Since its foundation, the first aid station has been providing medical care to all patients, regardless of ethnicity and religion. The assistance of the first aid station consists of the following services:

 

• provision of emergency and first aid for injuries, acute and chronic diseases, poisoning;

• providing therapeutic care;

• promotion and implementation of preventive and health measures;

• promotion of sanitary and hygienic knowledge and a healthy lifestyle.

 

From 2019 to the present day, the first aid station has provided assistance to 563 patients with great love, care and completely free of charge.

Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church under the leadership of Chorbishop Benyamin Betyadegar, as the only donor of this project, who provides  the financial side of the further functioning of the medical station, expresses boundless gratitude to the staff of the "Shamraya Tava" and " Caritas Georgia" health program, in particular:

Mr. Gaioz Kubaneishvili – manager of the health care program "Caritas Georgia";

Ms. Jeanne Petrosyan – database specialist of the “Caritas Georgia” healthcare program;

Dear Moisei  Adamov – head of the first aid station;

Ms. Lily Avro – coordinator of the first aid station;

Mrs. Mariete Adamova – cleaning manager of the first aid station;
