The bright Resurrection of Christ is the cornerstone of Christianity. It is an inspiration and example of boundless love and sacrifice for any person who relates himself to the Christian faith.

This year, the Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church of Saint Martyr Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae celebrated Easter on April 4. Due to the pandemic, the long-established program of Liturgy changed. The Divine Liturgy was served on Sunday at 12 o'clock, and not as usual on Easter Eve. There was no traditional feast in the banquet hall of the Church after the Liturgy, however this is not the main thing, since the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a great celebration of eternal life as well as boundless hope and love. The feeling of this joy does not depend on circumstances.

For those people who could not attend the Liturgy for certain reasons, a live broadcast was conducted and everyone could join the great feast and be in unity with the parish online. Once again, we congratulate everyone on the bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ.
