The six-month project to provide single pensioners, disabled people, those in need and large families with food and hygiene products

Dear parishioners!

This year was not easy. There were many difficulties of an economic, social and psychological nature, but everything can be overcome when you have reliable, loyal and responsible people who are ready to give a helping hand in a difficult situation and  this is  what  happened exactly.

Despite the severe economic situation worldwide caused by the pandemic, the six-month (November-April) project to provide single pensioners, disabled people, those in need and large families with  food and hygiene products became more extensive this year and involved 116 families in Tbilisi, Gardabani, Rustavi and  the village of Dzveli Kanda. This was made possible due to the differentiation of  assistance by categories, depending on the number of family members.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere and boundless gratitude to the donors of this project, Abuna Manuel Boji, Ron Boji and Melody Boji.

This project has been carried out because there is a bridge of friendship, love, mutual understanding and trust between us.  We express our thanks  to them once more  as  they have many problems, difficulties and obligations of their own, especially when the situation in Iraq is so complicated, and there are many of our refugees in other countries. These people extend a helping hand to everyone, help Iraq with one hand, take care of us with the other, and aid both here and there. This  strengthens  the church and makes it truly Catholic (universal), turning it into one flesh.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our dear volunteers for their life position, example and many years of gratuitous work. Thank you for  your right understanding of the true values of Christianity: charity and care for fellow men.
