SANCTIFICATION OF FOUNDATION STONE IN GARDABANI

Today, April 18, in the presence of the deacons and parishioners of Tbilisi and Gardabani in Assyrian - Chaldean Religious - Cultural Center of St. Ap. Thomas in Gardabani, in the foundation of the building, exactly where the Holy Altar will be located, a stone from the foundation of Holy Martyr Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church of Tbilisi is laying. The stone is a symbol of unity with our long-suffering ancestors, martyrs for the faith. We Congratulate all of us on this noteworthy event in the life of our community.

The inscription on the stone reads: “Unless the LORD Builds the house, the builders labor in vain“. Psalm 127:1
