Formational meetings (Orpiri, Bakuriani)
SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY

Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church annually takes children and teenagers for a few days to Orpiri near Kutaisi to the house purchased by Apostolic Administration in Georgia for conduction summer camps and meetings. Time of being together is used fruitfully with educational and upbringing twist. The program in Orpiri prepared by professional teachers is various, starting from excursions sightseeing of Kutaisi ending with quizzes, intellectual games and different activities including lectures and seminars.

Every day children and teenagers are given a particular topic on which they work, individually or in team, during the day. Later on they make presentation of this topic to others.

This educational method is very effective as since an early age children learn how to think, make conclusions and ask questions independently. They also learn how to listen and respect other people opinions.

In accordance with our possibilities and with the same aim the children and teenagers are taken to Bakuriani in winter as well as in summer.
