The Assyrian - Chaldean Catholic Church in Georgia did not limit its educational activity by teaching different subjects in church school. It always took into consideration all real problems in educational sphere and carried out the projects that would improve conditions of Assyrian school children.

The decision to provide public school children and university students with financial aid was taken. During several years, usually at the beginning of every educational year the particular sum of money is given from the church fund for purchasing school stationary, books, clothes and foot wear for school children. The project is carried out in Tbilisi as well as in Gardabani. The children from needy families were chosen for this project despite their confessional belonging.

The main condition for all the participants of the project is good behavior of school children and high scores at school. Fulfilling these conditions is a must for all the projects of the church. The program of all transportation expenses coverage was functioning for the students of free faculties and the students of private sector (those who pay for their education) are still provided by partial financial donation to cover their educational fees.

From 2006 to 2008 the project of preparing students for state entrance examinations existed. The church expresses its gratitude to teachers and members of educational committee namely to Olga Bit-Babik and Diana Bit-Vardi who were working with project beneficiaries for gratis and prepared them in Russian and literature. They also provided the project with highly qualified teachers from universities who also prepared children in different subjects. The education project was quite successful. During 2 years of project existence both candidates of individual program have passed state entrance exams and became university students. During all this period 40 students from Tbilisi and Gardabani have become beneficiaries of different educational projects. In addition to educational projects there are hand crafts courses that teach children such crafts as enamel, carpeting and sewing. The course of psychology for teenagers and children has recently been involved into curriculum.
