THE BRIGHT RESURRECTION OF CHRIST

Resurrection of Christ is the main event in the whole Sacred history. This year Easter was celebrated in Saint Martyr Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church on the 21st of April.
According to the tradition, Divine Liturgy begins with procession and consecration of Easter cakes and eggs. After the end of the Liturgy and the last blessing prayer, all parishioners go down to banquet hall of the Church to celebrate the Bright Resurrection of Christ, which is the feast of eternal life, endless love and hope, as a one big family.
