10 years have passed as an instant! This year, on October 13, there was a Divine Liturgy and a festive dinner dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the Consecration of Mar Shemmon Bar Sabbae Assyrian-Chaldean Catholic Church in Tbilisi. The term seems to be small but it is rather hard to list how much has been done over these years.

We have many projects and initiatives in the future but today, we can confidently say that the Church, as a center of religion and education, plays a very important role in the consolidation of the community by familiarizing people with their native culture and ancient religious traditions as well as contributes to the integration of Assyrians into modern society.

His Excellency Apostolic Nuncio to Georgia and Armenia Archbishop Jose Avelino Bettencourt and the Director of the Charity Foundation "Caritas Georgia" Mrs. Anaid Mkhoyan were among the guests of honor at the celebration.

Our dear and beloved parishioners! We congratulate you on this good, bright and so dear to our hearts holiday! Congratulations to all who have lived up to this day and our pray for those who bless us and our good deeds from heaven!

We also congratulate our dear Abuna Benyamin Beth Yadgar on the tenth anniversary of his ordination as a Chorbishop!
